Brasília, 18 Sept. 2019 (CABNC): Brazil has confirmed they will play Senegal on 10th of October and Nigeria on the 13th at the National Stadium in Singapore.
The Senegal national football team, nicknamed the Lions of Teranga, lost the Africa Cup of Nation at the final stage to Algeria are currently ranked at Number 1 Africa’s football ranking. The game will be the first time Senegal will meet Brazil. Nigeria, who won Bronze in Egypt, will be meeting Brazil for the second time at senior level following a 3-0 defeat in a friendly in June 2003 in Abuja.
Brazil Football Confederation official Juninho Paulista said “We chose two of the best African teams because they are high-level opponents. It was a wish of the technical commission. So we went after these opponents.” The technical commission had planned to play with top 50 ranked teams in the world whenever possible.
It will be Brazil’s second game in Singapore following a Neymar-inspired victory over Japan in October 2014.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
