Washington D.C, 8 May 2019 (CABNC-TV) – H.E Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor-Elect under APC confirmed to CABNC-TV’s AbdulRasheed Abubakar on phone that, he is at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government attending a course on ‘Lending Economic Growth’ program.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu expressed great satisfaction with the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He said, “Whether in business or governance, we must combine knowledge with practical solutions”. He further disclosed that, as we build for a greater Lagos, we must priorities learning and knowledge transfer.
Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (born June 25, 1965) is a Politician from Lagos State and the 2019 Lagos State gubernatorial election candidate for All Progressive Congress who contested and won the gubernatorial primaries under the All Progressive Congress against incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Nigeria in October 2018. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, as well as the London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Prior to his gubernatorial ambition, he was the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos State Property Development Commission (LSPDC). On March 10, 2019, he was declared Governor-Elect of Lagos State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Sanwo-Olu holds a BSc in Surveying and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is an alumnus of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, the London Business School and the Lagos Business School. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD). Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is married with children to Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
